Jeremy Schneider’s excellent research on the topic of UUID and underlying data types really came in handy when i’ve started to research possibilities to switch to UUIDs in one of the projects
PS: aside from a lots o f good information on the topic, Jeremy also shows some valuable approaches to testing and benchmarking of database performance with spectacular and easily readable graphs as results. Clearly a must read post, as well as the whole blog, I figure 🙂
